In Logos 7 it was possible to select a user-created lectionary to be displayed on the home screen. In Logos 8 it seems this is no longer possible. Is this intentional or is it still supposed to be possible?
Kind regards,
Gerard Wolfert
I hadn't noticed but you appear to be correct. Does it show in your library as a lectionary? If so, it is a bug. If not, recompile as a lectionary and see if that fixes it.
It definitely shows as a lectionary in my library and I already tried recompiling. I noticed another thread about the homepage and found that there are currently several other issues to be resolved. So maybe this is another one for that list :-)
It is still possible. I can't get all of my PB lectionaries onto the home page (even though they show in the "Add"-list), but I use one daily and put two more onto it without issues and I tried several things to put yours onto it, too.
What succeeded was something I saw in early L8 beta days: the lectionary needs to have not only a secular date index, but actually refer to "active" dates. Yours started at Advent, i.e. in December 2018. Once I put an empty entry for last and next Sunday into it, it works (won't show the liturgical colors you put into it, though):
This is the updated file: 1638.1033.Oecumenisch Leesrooster 2018-2019 voor Logos - plattetekst.docx
please verify that this works for you, too!
Thank you very much NB.Mick!I was pleasantly surprised you made the connection with my second post ever in another topic on this forum. That topic was completely in Dutch, but you apparently made the connection. This seems to solve the 'issue' indeed. In Logos 7 it just showed the first entry in the sidebar, in my case that was December 2nd. Since it worked in Logos 7 (I just finished my file when Logos 8 came out), I thought it might be a bug. I think I will keep my original file as it was and start using it when December 2nd is the 'Next Sunday'. I expect it will work by then.
This seems to solve the 'issue' indeed.
Good to hear!

I'm very interested in PBs, especially of the lectionary type (I built the Losungen - Dagteksten), so when I saw your post this morning I used Google translate to understand it and already had built the PB in my Verbum 7 installation when I saw your other post. Is there an internet source, like a church website, for your "ecumenical" lectionary?
