I was gone for the weekend and came back to the Logos 8 message board filled with many comments and suggestions surrounding Workflow. From what I can see, (aside from the homepage frustrations and various bugs), it is the most talked about L8 released tool. Rightly so, as it’s an exciting tool, and so I understand all the buzz. I’m thrilled that this release has a tool that helps the new user get their feet wet in the program and whets their appetite for learning how to study Scripture. However, I have to continue to rally for the little guy.
Please, Faithlife, in considering all these suggestions, (half of which I don’t understand the request, never mind the potential outcome) don’t make the tool so complicated that the new user in again forgotten. I’ve watched this program morph from Libronix to L8 and in its morphing, became an incredibly powerful program that was much too complicated for the new user to get started without a ton of training videos, “how—to guides” and lots of invested time. So, I’m not saying the tool doesn’t need to grow—-it does, and I’m thrilled about the potential. I’m just saying that in the process, please remember to keep in mind “the little guy.”
