Highlight with a secondary anchor to a bible verse without highlighting verse
When I add a bible verse reference as a second anchor for a highlighted paragraph (in a primary resource), that particular verse ends up being highlighted also (in the same style as the primary resource).
Any suggestions on how to do this without highlighting the bible verse but keeping the highlight in the primary resource?

I don't think this is possible at the moment.
I seem to remember a discussion on this but I don't think it can be done in 8.0

Anchoring a note to a generic bible reference will show that note in all bibles (since they all share that same data type). If you want a note on a specific bible translation, you should anchor the note to the selection in that individual resource.

But I think Benjamin's issue is that if he has added a note to a portion of text in a resource such as a commentary (for example) - with an associated highlight - then if he adds an anchor to a Bible reference, that verse / passage is highlighted as well. And he would rather that were not the case.

I found a workaround.
Create a note (with a note icon and no highlight) that is anchored to the verse reference. Then create a second anchor using the option "selected text" and select the text in the desired resource (e.g. commentary). Also, it is possible to continue to add more anchors that point to selected text in other resources.
To highlight the text in the actual resource (e.g. commentary), highlight as per usual. This creates a separate note (with no note icon and with highlight) for the highlighted text in that resource.
