Two issues with new Mobile app
1. When using the iPhone's read-aloud (Speech) feature (two-finger swipe from the top edge), it now mispronounces apostrophes and contractions. E.g. "Isaiah's" is pronounced "Isaiah es", "God's" is pronounced "Goad es", contractions are similarly mangled. This now happens across different Logos resources and mobile apps and different Speech voices. It didn't behave like this before. Can this be fixed?
2. When touching on the text on the screen, the book title and navigator bar appears. Could you reduce the vertical spacing on this navigator bar? On my small iPhone SE screen, it currently takes up the space equivalent to 5 lines of text.
(Please, do not debate or discuss tiny vs huge phone screen sizes.)
Thanks,
Peter

I'm not sure, but I think that this is an Apple problem. The very same thing is happening to me when I have my iPad/iPhone read anything, not just the Logos books. For instance, it does the same thing when I have my Kindle app read to me. The "Goad es" is particularly irritating.
It's a VERY annoying bug.

Off-topic question, but are you saying you can get the Kindle app on iOS to read out loud to you? If so, how do you do that?
Thanks,

The same gesture: swipe with two fingers from the top edge of the screen. You have to turn it on first: Settings > General > Accessibility > Speech > Speak Screen > On.

Hi, Donnie.
Please forgive the late reply. Yes, follow Peter’s instructions, and then swipe down from the top of your screen with two fingers. That will bring up the controls for your speech to text. You can also vary the speed, and you have a selection of different voices that you can download. I have my Kindle app read to me regularly.

Thanks, Jeff. I need to figure out how to download those other voices. I’d love it if I could configure it to no read the footnote numbers.
