Dashboard Syncing between app.logos.com & desktop app

Hey everyone!

Is the Dashboard in Logos 8 supposed to sync between the app.logos.com website and my desktop? I am confused as to why I can't seem to add a course to my dashboard on the App, but the web app displays it. Attaching a screenshot of each for reference.
