Question regarding calling Commentaries in Workflow
I am having a ball playing with these workflows and creating new ones for my particular needs.
Is there a way to have an inline command that sends my Bible reference to a particular collection (Historical) in my commentaries and opens in new window?
I'd like to put this in a text box, so when I click on it, the Bible reference, is sent to Commentaries and gets the Historical Collection. Hope that makes sense.
logos4:Commentary;ref=Bible.Ps1;res=Historical just an example like I am looking for.
Thanks,
Lane

You may have already figured out that you can create hyperlinks to resources and tools in a custom workflow. If not, you can see this demonstrated in this short screen cast
Currently there is not a way I know of to link to a collection of resources. As your question relates specifically to commentary questions, I can tell you that during the beta cycle the suggestion to enable commentary collections in custom workflows. The idea was not rejected, so it is possible we may see that in a future release.

Fredc,
Thank you for the screen cast. Been doing some of those after reverse engineering the provided Inductive Bible Study Workflow. Just couldn't find a way to get to the individual commentary collections.
After reading some of Mark Barnes post on the Collections, I built the All Commentary Guide and will just open it when I get to the relevant part.
Real bummer. LOL?

Linking a guide with your commentary collections is probably your best solution. That is what I have done as well. However, I think we will see improvements to workflows in future releases.

Is there a way to create a hyperlink to open the Passage Guide (for example) to the Bible reference that you input into the workflow? In other words, in the screen cast, the Alternative Bible link opens the Bible to Rom 12 rather than Gen 1 - can you make it go straight to Gen 1?

Not at this time. That came up during the beta cycle. FL indicated that they would look at options, but gave no timeline. i think we will likely see something in aa future release, but can’t say what or when
