LOGOS 8 Recent Update
I am fairly new to LOGOS, starting with Logos 6, I have found that my upgrade to LOGOS 8 to be somewhat frustrating. I have to admit though that the options that are now available are powerful and will prove very useful when I start using them to their fullest.
Most software publishers list or post the items that are affected in their latest updates. I do wish FL would do this also. I have updated to 8.0.0.0853, but I do not know what has been updated. I have read posts that show the Library Added in the last 7 days, but when one has a large library this is very time consuming. Has the actual program been updated?
Also not updated was a list of current courses under the Tools menu, for which we can make cards for on our Home pages.
Also the LOGOS starter video on the Home Page for the "Home Page" is not functioning. The message states that "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." All other videos play correctly.
This is a humbly submitted post searching only for an answer.

Robert, the word 'updated' can refer to a number of things: the program itself, the resources you own, the feature set, and the datasets that drive much of Logos' functioning. I'm unclear which of these you are interested in.
What was updated in the program has been well-documented by Faithlife here and here as well as in the Logos 8 Forum .
If you need info on other 'updates' please clarify.

I misunderstood. When you wrote "recent update" I thought you meant the update from 8.0 to 8.0 SR-1, which is what Philana's post describes.
It appears you were talking about the update from 7 to 8, which the other posters have linked.

David, thanks for your reply. You did not misunderstand,,,in following the posts of Philiana and the Pastor it enlightened me to the basics of which I did not understand. I guess when the next update comes out I will have a better understanding of what is updated.
