Update resource notifications
The Android app no longer notifies me when there are updates available.

I've seen them on the Home Page of my iPad. Do you have the new home page on Android?

The last update notification I got was for the Luther 2017 Bible, which was updated on 29 October (already on the new home screen).
The Logos help file was updated on 30 October, but I didn't get a notification. I only found out yesterday, when checking the resource info manually, that an update was available. I waited another couple of hours before updating manually to make sure that this is not only some delay, but the notification really doesn't come up for good.
I have the same issue on both of my devices.
Since version 8.0.1 was released on 30 October, I suspect that the issue was introduced with this update.

Thanks for additional information. Now I don't know if everything is up to date on my iPad.
I hope someone from Faithlife will explain what we should and should not expect.

We're working on a feature where all books with updates will download automatically when you're on wifi. This should make the update process seamless for most people.
For those who aren't on wifi very often, we'll have a notification in your library that you have out of date books and you'll have a choice for when do download them.

When do you expect this feature to be available?
Auto-update is headed to beta on Android. Should be available in the next week or so.

How do we know if we have updates on the new iOS app? I haven't seen one since I installed it. Is there a way to manually check?

Thanks, Daniel. The auto update feature could be an issue for some people with metered Internet. Should there be a way to toggle it on and off?

Similar changes will be coming to iOS, hopefully soon. Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to manually check right now.

Hi Mark, wrt metered internet and Android auto-update - auto-update will only occur when using wi-fi. When using a data connection a message will displayed allowing update if a resource is used that is out of date.

Thank you. Since going to 8 I haven't seen any updates on my mobile device for resources. I'd have to compare to my desktop to see if I'm missing any
