BUG: Bible Browser
I selected a single Passage List as Visual Filter in the Bible Browser.
Each time I select a Command > Type > [Type], I need to go back and deselect the Passage List and select it again to filter the result. (I did not check this behavior against other queries in the Browser)
Aren't the Browser suppose to filter available queries when I select a Visual Filter to a specific Passage, and keep the Visual Filter active?

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean by this. Please clarify / expand.

Thanks for the quick reply. Here are the Steps I followed to try an clarify:
- Open Bible Browser
- Filter by Verse
- Select Commands > Type > Wish
- Scroll the Resource and note that Ps 7:5,7 are listed
- Create a Ps 7 Passage List with Ps 7 as Reference (I want to study this Psalm only)
- Go back to the Bible Browser
- Select the Visual Filters > Passage Lists > Ps 7 Passage List
- Bible Browser gets filtered to Ps 7
- Nothing is Highlighted?
- Keep the Visual Filter selected to Psalm 7
- Remove the Bible Browser Type:Wish at the top
- Select the "wish" filter again in the Browser
- The Passage List Filter doesn't filter the results?
- What are the purpose of a Visual Filter if it doesn't filter?
I'm trying to study a specific passage or passages that are in a Passage List using the Bible Browser and all the Command Types. I suppose a workaround to achieve what I want is to export all results for example commands, requests, curses etc., to a Passage List or Passage Lists. Then search that Passage List for my specific references.

Thanks for those clear steps and I see the issue you are referring to

Totally reasonable question!
But I'm afraid I don't know the answer.
Hopefully someone else will be able to comment further.

Graham, thanks for your precious time. I'll try and figure out how to do it another why. I forgot I'll not be able to do it the way I suggested as a workaround.
I'll use morph search for Cohortative, Jussive etc. instead.
Thanks again

The best but time consuming alternative to solve this, that I can think of, is to:
- create a Passage List with each verse separately for the Passage I want to study
- export the Bible Browser results I need by verse
- Merge the Passage Lists as Intersection

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve but if you select "Bible Books: Old Testament: Psalms" you are able to filter to just the Psalms (and this does include more than Psalm 7) which gives just 8 results.
What do you want to do next in your study?

I want to fine-tune my workflow.
I'm writing a devotional a day from Psalms. I'm currently at Psalm 75. Each day I follow some steps to accomplish my goal for the day. I don't have a lot of time each day, but don't want to not give my best at each task. The Bible Browser actually does a lot of what I do on a daily basis. The problem is that I want to be focused on one Passage only, not all the noise around it.
To be focused I'm investing some time today creating a workflow (Logos 8 [^]). I want to zoom into a Reference (a Psalm in this case). I want to create a Hyperlink for each step or task to Bible Browser and then filter it to zoom into that Passage only. The smallest zoom we are capable of currently in Psalms are Psalms as a collection of bible books or a common division. When I have the small focused information I want, I link it in Favorites, Notes or wherever I see fit for the future. It is better to save that information as something that Logos can regenerate because if a data set changes the result will automatically be included next time I revisit the research.
With the commands type in Bible Browser I have instant paragraphs for a devotional to write about, Commands, Prohibitions, Requests, Advice, Warnings, Well-wishes, Offers, Permissions, Invitations, Curses and Wishes. I don't want to browse through each Command Type separately to see weather or not it is contained in my Passage for the day. Nor does the information Panel provide such information or any other guide that I looked at. It seems as if Bible Browser is the answer because it kind of bring almost everything together.
There is another way to do what I want as well. I can go through all permutations I need in Bible Browser and quickly assign custom Labels to results that can be searched. But then again if a data set changes I won't necessarily know that.
Maybe there is a solution I'm missing because I'm to focused on a single method of doing this.

Have you tried the new Concordance Guide - set to display "Command"?

This is a nice feature I missed somewhere. Thank you so much. [8]

It's new with Logos 8 and - I think - has a lot of potential and value.
