Logos 8 Appearance: Tab information

Is there a way to reduce the information displayed for the tab label? I do not need an icon of the book and the title abbreviation, just one or the other. Also, I do not need the link indicator. This excess information causes the tabs to be too big. Used to be able to see all my tabs that I need to navigate to and from all at once. The new display and feature to scroll through tabs is not desirable, how can I circumvent the recent modification?

Better yet, Logos, can we have a feature so the user may decide the appearance of the Logos interface, either current or pre-Logos 8 format? At the very least an option to decrease the font/icon size of the main menu bar?

You can try going into the Program Settings, under Accessibility, and reduce the Program Scaling background to a value lower than it is right now.
