Simpler Note Creation View

The new note features are powerful, but can be a little 'busy' at times. When I'm reading a resource and want to create a note, I right click the section I want and select new note. A new tab then opens that is jam-packed with all kinds of different things. It takes a brief moment for me to figure out where I am supposed to look to find the new note I just created. This can be a bit distracting when all I want is to put down a quick thought on whatever it was I was reading. I think it would be helpful to have a simple, distraction-less view option that just shows the new note I am creating and then I can close it and get back to what I was doing. If I want to see the full notes system, there should be a button or option to view the larger, more complex current view readily available.

Seriously though, I think something like Microsoft's OneNote is a great example. I can either open the full program and add notes within the full interface, or I can use a shortcut/key combo that opens a simple popup window where I can place a single note and save it without interruption to my workflow.
