New Notes Tool ( and Favourites)

hi all

is it correct the new notes tool opens notes generically but an individual note file created in Logos 7 cannot be opened directly from  the user's own favourites folder??

If so, then could it be made possible to open a specific note directly from the user's own favourites folder?

    My guess is that the note file links from L7 probably are indeed broken since those files do not technically exist in L8. You can switch to the old notes system for now but then would not have access to the new notes tool and will basically (I believe) just kick your problem down the road to be dealt with eventually.

    That being said, you CAN drag the notes tool tab with a note open to favorites and the link will open that specific note when clicked.

    thanks for your reply.

    The new notes tool is great, except I suppose it  would also be great though if it were possible  if this were somehow addressed now as well, as all of a sudden hundreds and hundreds of pre-existing links to L7 note files seem to have stopped working... unless as you say I switch back to the old notes system, which I expect I will have to do, ..which seems a shame,.. (especially without an idea of if or when the problem might be dealt with?)
