I had the hardest time figuring out how to keep my stars in the same report on the same passage. I would star resources, close the report, then re-run on the exact same passage and they would be gone.

I finally found a way. It consists in entering some information in the top section of the report that has a field for a title and one for a description (the easiest way if one does not really want to come up with something is to type a "." in the description field. It works). My guess is that a report is not saved unless something is entered in these fields. I don't know if this is the way it is meant to be or if it is a bug.

I would think that if someone stars resources, that should be registered as user customization and therefore automatically saved.

I did not find help on this feature in the help menu either.

Thanks, Dave. I should update this thread with this bit of information collected from the other forum.

1) Once a report is saved, a report generated on a larger passage that include the previous passage will show at the top a "See Also" section with links to as many reports that have been previously saved. For instance a report a report on Mt 5.1-12 shows at the top "See also Matthew 5:7" on which I did a previous report (with saved customizations such as stars and the possibility of removing with the "X" unwanted resources).

2) I found that it is actually best to use the passage's reference in the title of saved report. Why? Because this is what shows later in the "See Also" section. My report on Mt 5.1-12 showed see also Matthew 5:7 only because this is the title that I gave to the previous report on 5:7. If I had called it "something else" it would say "see also something else" without the reference. This is useful to know when picking a title.

I would still suggest adding more explanations to the help file. Perhaps an "advanced" section.
