Disable Swipe to Highlight on iOS App

I am new to using iOS and a long time Android user, so I'm not sure if I'm not finding this setting, or if it's never been in iOS, or if it's just not here in Logos 8 for iOS.
I really prefer to disable the "swipe to highlight" for many reasons. Mostly, because I find it easier to adjust my selection and then highlight rather than accidentally highlight too much/little and then try to correct it.
In the Android app I can go into settings and uncheck "swipe to highlight" but don't see this anywhere in iOS app. Is it there and I'm just missing it?

Not in a section of the main settings menu as on Android
