How do you export a whole notebook?

Select the Notebook and click the three dots at the top right of the note tool pane. Select Print/Export

Thanks for your information it helped me move in the right direction BUT I have an issue maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
When I click on the ellipsis and select Print/Export, it only exports or print the current note NOT the whole notebook.
I found a work-around by selecting the notebook in the left panel (notebook/filter selection) and then Control-Click each note in the notebook, then the print/export will do all the notes.
I'm probably missing something and I was hoping you could shed some light on it.
Thanks in advance

Strange - I've just tested it and it exports the entire notebook.
Can you post a screenshot showing the Notes Tool when you are doing this? (Use the paperclip icon in the forum editor)

The way Thomas describes is how it works for me on a Mac. It will only print/export the SELECTED notes, not the whole notebook. Maybe this is different on Windows?
Thomas, you can quickly select a group of notes by clicking the first one, scrolling to the last one you want to include, holding SHIFT down and clicking the final note.

I just tested in Windows and exported just the current note. When I closed that note, then the whole notebook was exported.

Here is what I found, When I open the search tool, choose "Notebook" and then pick one of my notebooks. Then immediately (i.e. Never select a specific note) select Print / Export, It exports the entire notebook. However, If I had selected a note to view / edit, then do the export, it will only do that individual note. It make more sense to me now.
So I guess there is not a "bug". I just thought it was a little misleading to me, being a novice. It would be nice if there were a "Export WHOLE Notebook" button under the "Print/Export" menu.
Thanks

Am I in the wrong area? The ellipsis next to my notebook names just give options to rename, share (make public) or delete.

Hi, Marcia:
Welcome to the forums (fora?)
If you review this thread I think you will see the steps you need to take. The following steps are for a Windows desktop computer. Your mileage may vary.
- Open any Notebook.
- Make sure the current Note is closed (Click the menu for that Note, not the Notebook to see "Close Note")
- Press [Ctrl+P] to see the export dialog.
- Pick a destination (ie: Word document)
- Depending on how Word is set up, there might be a dialog hidden behind all your other screens.

I don't know if there is a page limit set, but if so it does seem like a bug. Perhaps someone from Faithlife can comment

When exporting an entire notebook, is there a way to change what exports? In my case, I'm getting the highlighted text (selection) and my note, but there is no verse reference for many of the notes.
I'm assuming the ones that have a verse reference were highlighted/selected "by reference" and the ones without were highlighted/selected "by selection." (I hated that method from the beginning and it is still causing problems ten years later!)
So is there a way to get the verse reference for those highlighted/selected "by selection?" Or am I stuck with nearly 80 pages of notes with no reference on them?

Hello, Doc:
I tried changing settings for the program, Notes, and the Bible text, trying to duplicate your report, without success. I always see references in the exported Notes. What you are seeing has to be a setting. I'm sorry I did not find it for you.

Thanks for trying! I still haven't solved it, either.
