Pixelbook and Touchpad Scrolling

I have a Pixelbook that runs the Android mobile app. I want to say that in the past I could scroll through open resources using the touchpad as opposed to having to use touch (it's been a while since I opened and used the Android mobile app on my Pixelbook). Does anyone know if the Android app supports touchpad scrolling for those Android devices that have it?
