Canvas - SVG

Hi,

I would love images (PNG) in Canvas - but I know how FL have some aversion to images (maybe due to server space???)

It would be less space consuming and really helpful to allow custom SVGs in Canvas. Thay way, I could design, say, a custom shape (eg a star) in Inkscape (or other similar program) and use it for text highlighting or children's bulletin art etc.

I think Canvas is a great idea and obviously we are only in a 1.0 release for it - but would love to see it improve. (Hebrew has been mentioned in another thread!)

PS - Would still love to see tables and images available in Notes.

I'm not sure about images, FL may have concerns about that. I am fairly confident that we will see continuous improvement and new features in the Canvas tool, as well as workflows and notes.

Do you want to use custom SVG's only in Canvas or does "text highlighting" include Highlighter Styles? If you refer to drawings in Canvas, look what can be done already. Although Canvas is in its infant shoes it is already powerful. Here are two samples created in Canvas. I would also love to see some improvements though.

Pieter - they look great - Oh to be so talented! I tend to download SVG graphics and that's what I have in mind.

I was only thinking of custom SVG graphics to put in and nothing to do with highlighting styles.

I agree Canvas is great and am looking forward to what comes, but I thought I'd get in early with the request for user imported graphics.
