Facets versus note "attachments"

My (Mobile Ed) old-notes approach was to create (a notebook for each course, then) a new note for each course section (001, 002, ...). I would then add lots of attachments to that section's note.

New notes lets me continue to do this, but I've come to realize that the facets only apply to notes, not to anchors. (E.g., I wanted to find anchors to DCH, earlier today, but each section's note only shows in the facets that its resource is OT391.)

So, looking forward, and hoping to take more/better advantage of note facets:

1. Will facets ever be able to show per-anchor information?
2. If not, is there (or will there be) a way to (drag-and-drop? or) "promote" note attachments to standalone notes?
3. Alternately, will we be able to search for note anchors and group them by resource (or even search note anchor text)?

Wondering if my current note scheme has severely limited me in terms of quickly finding a specific anchor.

I tried to repeat your problem but I had facets working across all the anchors in my test cases. Perhaps, it is something specific to you course noted?

Here's an example from "My OT391 notes" notebook. It has over 40 anchors attached to 9 notes.

The filters facets only appear to show details for the notes themselves, but don't include details about the additional anchors.

For example, this TDOT highlight that is anchored to a note from the OT391 transcript, doesn't show TDOT in the resource facet:

I understand that it is one note, anchored in 14 different places, but it seems that it's only searchable/filterable at the note level, not the anchor level.

If facets are only meant to apply to notes, is there a way to "promote" a note's anchors to standalone notes (highlights), that they may be searched/filtered also?

It's probably more difficult to see them all when the note isn't expanded, as yours is. Here's a similar view to yours, of a note with three additional anchors.

Totally ON and OFF topic. Revealing my ignorance here but could someone explain to me what the difference is between Filters and Facets? I see nothing labeled in Logos as Facets, but I do see Filters. Not trying to be argumentative, just this old brain of mine is attempting to put the right label on what we are taling about.

For Notes, the different facets would be Type, Resource, Bible Book, Notebook, and so on.

Other tools, like the Bible Browser, have facets such as People, Places, Things, Senses, Topics, etc.

Other panels, such as the library, have their own set of (resource) facets, such as Subject, Ratings, Author, Language, Collection, Last Updated, and so on.

The Filters sidebar (also referred to as the faceting sidebar or faceted browser, in Help) lets you refine (filter) what shows up on the right side. Faceted browsing provides a way to narrow down results by applying different filters (e.g., resources by this author), saving us the need to type the filter criteria by hand.
