Bug: Missing anchor flag
Here is a Note in NIV1984. It has a unique flag (maroon circle) anchored to Genesis 11:10 and 11:26. The same flag appears in the text at 11:26.
See the unique flag at verse 26? OK so far. But when I scroll back to verse 10, the flag is missing.
The flag does not appear at verse 10. I tried deleting this anchor and adding a new one. No joy.
Can anyone repeat this behavior? (I have not noticed this behavior with any Note flags at other verses.)

I can consistently reproduce this. A note icon will only display at the first anchor in the list of anchors.

Thanks, Reuben.
I'm astonished at the number of bugs in this version of Logos. I pray that they are not short of money. Companies have died that way.

This behavior only applies to Notes created in Logos 8. Earlier Note flags still work as expected.
When the bug that fails to create the note flag is fixed, there will need to be a get-well project to correct all the verses that have missing flags by Logos 8. (I'd hate to have to go looking manually through tens of thousands of Notes to check all multi-verse flags.)

Another clue for developers:
- Create a new Note.
- Add a couple of anchors to it.
- Go check on the distant anchor flags. (They appear as normal.)
- Go look at an unrelated Note.
- Now go back to the first Note
- Add another anchor at a distant verse.
- The flag will not show up at the distant verse.

Logos 8.1, beta 2; Mac OS 10.14.1. For me, the icons appear at every anchor point
I have a red star at Love of God v2, November 19, Amos 8:11, and John 17:17. The note was created by selecting text in the devotional and creating a note, then adding two scripture anchors. I collapsed the note content to better show the anchors.

I just experienced this bug for myself for the first time in Logos 8. I created a note which was anchored to 5 subsequent passages in Deuteronomy 16-18. Only the flag for the first note appears in my Logos 8 (version 8.1.0.0016; Windows 10).
So I played around a bit by creating a test note anchored to various texts in John 1 & 2 as shown below. In each case, the only references which had anchor flags showing were the first reference in the list per chapter. So, the first list showed flags on John 1:1 & John 2:1; the second list showed flags on John 1:3 & John 2:1.
It appears from my little experimentation that Logos 8 will not show anchor flags in Bibles for more than 1 reference per chapter.
This obviously needs to be fixed!

Perhaps the anchors are too close together. I created a note anchored @ Galatians 1:2 and 1:11, and the icon appeared at both verses. I did not experiment further to see how close the anchors could be and still display multiple icons.

I don't think so, Jack. In Logos 7, I was able to attach/anchor a note to as many subsequent verses in a chapter as I wanted & a flag would appear on each verse. Also, this issue seems to affect notes created by earlier versions of Logos as well. I have an old note attached to 2 verses in Psalm 51 & only the first verse has a flag. So, it must be a bug/limitation related to the Logos 8's reworked notes feature.

On 8.2 beta 2, multiple note icons show up for me IF not on consecutive verses. I anchored to vss. 9 & 11 and all was good. Upon adding an anchor to vs 10, only one icon appears (at vs. 9). It's like the anchors are getting merged, which is great for highlights, but I can see where someone may wish to have a note icon for the same note at multiple consecutive verses.
