Having watched the videos and experimented with this function I cannot see anyway for me to save the different workflows with a name of my choice as I work on them. Is there a way to do this or are we stuck with the default names?

just click on this field and name it whatever you want

EDIT: John Fidel brings up a good point, are you trying to create a custom workflow or complete an existing workflow? If you are trying to complete an existing workflow, you are correct that there is no way to change the default name.

If you use a predefined plan, rather than create a custom plan, I did not see any way to change the default saved name. Personally, I would like to be able to edit an existing plan similar to how we can customize other guides. This would allow the defined plans to act as a template to customize for our own workflow. This has been suggested, but I am not aware of the status.

[Y] because in the existing plans there are links to features/datasets and I haven't been able to figure out how to duplicate those links in a custom workflow!

So I thought that I would experiment by using one of the passage study workflows and for the focus text do a few word studies as well. Logically I would want to file these with names that help me group them together for future reference. As far as I can tell this is not possible with the supplied workflows.

My conclusion is that the existing workflows are meant to be used independently rather than together and naming is limited to the passage for passage workflows and the lemma for word based workflows. I guess the confirmation of this is the inclusion of the important words section in the exegesis workflow.

At this stage I was trying to see whether I could get value out of the feature in its shipped state without investing too much effort in building a customer workflow, for me I think workflows could be of real value in the future but I'll wait and see what else the developers deliver especially in terms of linking workflows and documents.
