Bug Report: All Workflow Notes Suddenly GONE!

I have so far been very pleased with the new Workflow tool. I was using it to prepare my sermon for this weekend, I had poured a lot of effort into it. I went to continue my work on it this morning, and while I was performing an inline search on a Hebrew word (not sure if this is relevant or not, but I thought I'd include it just in case), suddenly Logos got REALLY slow (I have a brand new 2018 Macbook Pro, so it shouldn't be bogged down like that) for a few minutes, then suddenly all my Workflow notes disappeared! I checked the Notes tool and I see that the Notebook for my Workflow is still there, but it says "0 notes." Needless to say, my enthusiasm for this new feature has just taken a big hit!

I checked the "Deleted" section of documents.logos.com and there's nothing. It looks like the noted document is still there, but just all the notes inside the document got deleted.... super frustrating.

Any suggestions? In the meantime, I'm back to square one on my sermon prep. #regrets

I just noticed, the Notebook for my workflow used to just be named "Workflow Title" but now it's "Workflow Title | Passage" it looks like maybe this was a recent update to how Logos handles workflows that may have caused all my previous work to disappear? [:(]

    Tim,

Sorry to hear you're having issues. We did a quick look at your Notes activity and it looks like your workflow notes are in the "trash"... You should be able to restore them from the Notes Tool by "untrashing" them.

As for how/why this happened, I'll look for any factors that might have caused this. Is there anything you are aware of other than updating that might have caused this? And, do you remember the previous version number of Logos that you were on?

Regarding the Notebook title change, all Stable (non-alpha/beta) versions of Logos should have always generated a "Workflow Title | Passage" formatted Notebook title. The change you saw makes it sound like you might have been on (or created that Notebook, via Workflows) a pretty old version?

Matt, you're awesome! Thanks for helping me see this! I didn't realize the new notes feature has a Trash. I see the notes in there now too. What's the best way to restore the notes to my workflow so they function properly? I'm worried if I don't do something just right, they won't be connected properly to the workflow. I'll wait for your instructions before I try anything so I don't make a mistake.

I'm not sure exactly about version numbers but yes, I jumped on the bandwagon pretty quick with the Workflow feature. I have been a Logos Now user and am kinda notorious for being an early adopter with new features, so yeah it's pretty likely that I created the Workflow (and Notebook) on an old a (relatively) old version.

Thanks again for your help, and for your quick response!

Never mind, I found the "Undelete" button, seems to be working great. Thanks again!

Good timing. I was just weeping and gnashing teeth over a lost highlight. The undelete is a great new feature.

Thanks Tim for bringing this up as I am sure I will encounter something along that line of a missing Note.

Matt, thank you also as I had heard about the trash but completely forgot about it. Nice for the reminder.
