Devotional Reading tools
I have a daily devotional reading plan that involves reading two to three chapters in the Old Testament, two to three chapters in the New Testament, and a chapter or two of the Psalms every day. I know many other people who use a similar devotional reading plan.
Presently I use the "Favorites" tool to keep my place in all three sections, but that seems unnecessarily complicated, particularly on my mobile devices, which is what I do most of my devotional reading on. This is my present method for keeping track of my reading plan on my mobile devices:
Go to the "Favorites" window,
Select a passage (OT, NT, or Psalms) that I favorited (bookmarked) the day before (Let's say Philippians 1),
When I'm finished reading those two to three New Testament chapters, go to another window in another panel called "Add To Favorites"
Add the new location (Philippians 4),
Go back to the "Favorites" window and select Philippians 1 and delete it.
Repeat this for each section (OT, NT, and Psalms)
When I was doing my devotional reading on my Kindle app, it was super easy adding and removing bookmarks in different sections of the Bible. The downside was that with the Kindle I was limited to just one translation. Logos lets me read in the OT in one translation, the NT in another, and Psalms in yet another. There just seems to be no easy way to keep track of (bookmark) where you are in each section.
The "Bookmarks" feature in Logos is great, but it does sync to mobile devices. In fact there is no bookmark feature for mobile devices.
Has anyone else run into this challenge and maybe found a better way to use Logos for devotional reading? Are there plans by the developers to address this?

Thanks for your reply, Graham, and for your suggestion. I've spent some time trying to put together a reading plan but am having some trouble. The instructions on the link you sent don't seem consistent with what I'm experiencing. Perhaps it's because I'm on a Mac?
I'll keep working with it. But still, it would seem something as common and simple as bookmarking should be a very easy thing to do in such an incredibly powerful program.

I figured out how to do a reading plan - even one that starts from the middle of a book. [8-|] It seems there are still just a couple things I am missing.
It looks like I am forced to select the duration of a plan, either by date, number of days, number of sessions, or number of verses (?). So if my goal is to do three chapters a day, I have to do some math to figure out how many session it will take to go from Acts 17 to Revelation 22, unless I am missing something.
Also, I don't seem to have the option to read more than the three chapters, should I just decide to read ahead.
Again, thank's for suggesting I check out the reading plans, though I'm still hoping they'll consider implementing a simple bookmark system that syncs between devices.

Personally I would probably set up a Custom Reading Plan - which gives you total control over what you read on any particular day. Though it is quite a bit of work to set up.

The plan should allow you to read ahead but it won't automatically adjust the plan as a consequence so I see how the bookmark feature you suggested is more flexible in this scenario

Again, thanks Graham. I visited the link you provided to the other thread and weighed in there.
Hopefully, the development department will see the need for this feature.
