Clearing "Recent Books"

I must say that I love the Logos iPhone app. It is so nice to have all of my resources available on the go. However, I am getting a bit annoyed at the fact that my "read" section is host to every book I've opened on my phone. I have yet to find a way to clear these resources.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to clear the "recent books" cache?

Thanks for your help!

Allen

I asked this same question in about three different ways on various posts, but never have gotten an answer.  I would like to clear them every time I use my iPad for study (which would be everyday).

Likewise. It seems that either the company doesn't think its that important. Or that we're the only ones who even find it annoying. This is my second post without any feedback. [:(]

Actually Allen I am using the list of recents so that I dont have wade through the nearly 2000 books to get to what I want.  So to me, the recent list is a good thing, but that is part of what has made logos so good over the years... the option to do things the way that we want to do them... independent of what others want to do!

I'm not aware of a way to do this either. I'm not sure if it would help your particular need on this issue, but in the past I've suggested that the Logos app have a "dock" that would work like the iPad dock...you could add/remove the handful of resources you want to always show in the dock.
Based on the lack of response on many issues/suggestions for the iPhone/iPad in the forum, I think it's an indication tha Logos has chosen to allocate the majority of it's resources to other areas for the time being. If I'm correct, hopefully this will change in the near future.

Roger, call their Technical Support desk, for getting answers about the iPhone, they are much more responsive than the forum. Even if they tell you that you can't, it is better information than silence.

Roger, call their Technical Support desk,

I will.  Thanks Terry.  I'll report back the response.  I like the "Recent" feature, but I just want the option to clear it and start over.

Do you mean recent searches?  That includes things that aren't available, which isn't helpful.  I'd also love to be able to clear the list of books.  That way, we could use the arrow to go between books that we have opened for a session.  It'd be almost as good as split screen, and actually probably better on the iphone's small screen, and would also enable us to have more than one book "open" at a time.

We've also talked about highlighting and I'd like to suggest that the way it's done in other readers, such as the nook or kindle readers.  Touch and hold it to bring up the bubble that you place where you want it then get the marks that you can extend to cover a highlight area.  I like that better than Olive Tree's way of having to highlight a whole verse.  I don't care if I have only one highlight color.  I just want to be able to highlight and go back to through your highlighted passages like Kindle and Nook.

the only way I could clear the recent reading list was to delete the Ipad application and start over again. It is a long way around but it did work.
