Font Color

Can we change the default font color to black, please? Or at least allow us to set the default color ourselves. All other resources have a default color of black, so it is odd to have Notes default to gray. This seems to be a common complaint, and this fix cannot be terribly complicated.

Please fix this at your earliest opportunity.

The default font color is black currently. Some have complained about being grayish, personally, I don't see the issue.

In my Logos it is gray. And, others have this same complaint. Again, all other resources open with a black font, it just does not make any sense to have the Notes default to a gray font. Not to mention that it is more difficult to read. To my eyes, the font color makes the words seem “fuzzy”, because compared to all the other resources, the words are not as clear.

This is why others have stated they want a black font. Again, this is an easy fix. We can change the default font name—why not the font color?

Oh I agree on changing the defaults, I just think it is odd some people see gray and some still see black.

I have the same condition as George and agree with him for some form of resolution to allow those of us whose Fonts are grayish have the option to change the Font color to our viewing desire.

This Font color issue is primarily apparent in Notes but not in Resources' Fonts.

Oh, it's definitely grey for me, and it's terrible. And if I "select all" to change it to a nice readable black, I lose the blue of source and scripture highlights.

Mine is black - very starkly black. I wonder if the problem could be narrowed down to scaling, font or monitor type? It may be faster to find and fix the problem than to add an additional option.

    Hi David

Here is a screenshot of a couple of my notes - the top one I opened in 'Preview' and duplicated the the line using a black font.

You should be able to see that the original is a a couple of tones down from black on the greyscale.

It really matters not to me but others seem to find it a problem.

I think it might well be something to do with screen resolution.

Strangely on my iPad the font is definitely black!

This has nothing to do with monitors or font scaling or anything else. I guess my questoin going into this is, "Why change the font color in the first place?" If we are able to change our fonts for resources, why not have thsoe same defaults for our Notes?

I have a few other minor complaints about hte Notes that I am able to fumble through, but this one just doesn't seem to make sense. If the Logos developers are delayings in "changing this feature" perhaps they should not have included that feature in the first place.

I just want black fonts--yes, some people don't mind; but for those who do mind, it is frustrating to try to deal with this every time I create a new note.

No, has nothing to do with screen size or whatnot. When I open the text palate, there is a black option, and the text is not using it.
Where that not the case, the color wouldn't change when I apply it.
