Problem with Numbered lists in the new Notes tool
Hi!
At first: Thanks for the new Notes tool! It makes organizing notes much easier.
However the Numbered lists are handled differently in the new Notes tool. The new Numbered list system is good in for many purposes, but not all. I have lots of notes (like lecture notes) with a mix of Numbered lists and Bulleted lists and the new tool can't handle that. Could you fix this soon? Or do I have to manually re-edit all my notes?
Here's screenshots from the same example notes in Logos 7 and Logos 8:
As you can see, the Numbered list in the new tool jumps back to number 1 if there's a subnote with a bullet. Also, you can't decide if you want to have numbers or alphabets in the subnotes (with increased indent).
There's another problem with the lists as well: Hitting Shift+Enter to make a new line without a new bullet or number doesn't work. That's discussed here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/174544.aspx

For your information: I got an answer from Logos support:
"We are actively working to resolve this as soon as possible, as it’s on our short list of fixes which will be automatically included in future update releases."
That's great news!

As of 10 October 2109 I am still experiencing this problem. If I place additional lines of notes between the numbered elements then Logos Notes automatically goes back to 1 (and changes any number I enter back to 1). I have also not been able to find a way to turn auto-numbering off entirely. Have you found any solution to the problem?
Thank you.

I am new to Logos and this still appears to be an issue as of November 1st 2022. This certainly would be a nice fix.

I've had the same problem in the Sermon Builder, but I discovered a workaround that seems to do the job.
After the numbered list entry, hit Enter then TAB to create a numbered sub-list entry (a). Then toggle the numbered list item button.
Enter comment or note. This can have multiple paragraphs, all indented.
After finishing your comment, hit Enter, Shift-TAB, then toggle the numbered list. You should find it brings up the next number in sequence (see screenshot below).
Think of it as a regular numbered list with indented sub-lists but with sub-list numbers hidden.
Hope this solves your problem.
