a question about L8 packages
So last week I upgraded my Logos 7 to Logos 8 and went with a Bronze package with full feature set. However there is one title that I am still interested in and it costs its' full price. Make sense.
However, I notice on the right side that there is section that says title is included in these collections. One is the Starter collection. When I select the starter collection it takes me to the page describing that and the cost it quotes me is 1/3 the cost (<$15) of the single title I want plus it includes many other things that my Bronze package does not have.
Is this an error? Is there a downside to buying the starter collection after having upgraded my Logos to Logos 8 including a step up to a bronze package?
I do not want to game the system or in some way "hurt" myself.
thanks

I would call a sales rep and ask. I believe you can buy starter and be ok. But do call.

If the resource is in Standard Starter and you purchased Standard Bronze, you should own the resource.
If you own Standard Bronze and the reource is in Anglican Starter, then the resource you are looking for and any others in anglican Starter will be ADDED IN ADDITION TO what you already own, so you loose nothing and only gain new resources as the Base Package Discount.
For another example, I bought Standard Silver 8 and can buy a Baptist Starter for $8 With my dynamic pricing. i don’t loose any of my Standard Silver 8 Resources or any previous Base Package I own from older Logos versions. it’s not a downgrade, just an added set of resources.

Hey Stephen,
As others have mentioned already you should be fine buying the Start after buying Bronze. Your system should recognize the highest level package in the info drop down. The Starter will only only add any resources you don't own. I have done this several times since Logos 4 forward. Buying one set then realizing I wanted some other resources in another package. The dynamic pricing makes the incentive better and just adds to you library. I also have the Bronze for L8, but have seen a few resources in another package that would only cost me about $20. So I am thinking of that.
Hope this helps. Blessings.

No
(actually eliminated now - in the past Faithlife used to post the latest collection on the 'About' panel – there were some who showed a tendency to pride and wanted their most expensive purchase shown there. Now in mine it just shows 'Logos 8 package'.)
Go for it - this is the pricing model that Faithlife operates, the company likes us to buy packages and offers great discounts when we do. Alway check the 'also included in' bit when considering a purchase.
