Navigation panel on Notes

I really like the changes Logos made to Note.  In version 8.0.6, one of the improvements listed is the ability to hide and show navigation.   I assumed that meant the panel on the left that lists all of the notes.  I have tried to do this on my iPad Air 2 with ios 12, but I cannot seem to hide the panel. Am I doing something wrong, or am I misunderstanding the improvement?

Another suggestion to male Notes more user friendly is to have the Tab key indent a bullet in and the Shift-Tab indent out.  I use a Notes with a Bluetooth keyboard.

I think you've misunderstood the improvement. Hiding/showing the "main navigation" is referring to the buttons at the bottom of the screen (and incidentally the top strip on your iPad showing time, battery, etc. This show/hide is the same as when tapping white space in a resource. Does that make sense? If not, let me know and I'll post a couple of screenshots.

P.S. You can (within a limited timeframe) edit your post.

  • Thank you for the clarification.  In that case, I would like to request that Logos provide a way to hide/show the panel on the left of Notes that lists my notes. I like using Notes in a split screen with the Bible or other resource on one side and Notes on the other.  I prefer that my iPad be horizontal.  With this setup, there is too little room available for the area to type the note.  The ability to hide/show the left panel would be very helpful.

    Thsnk you.
