This was happening earlier, but it was a problem with macOS 10.14.0. The update to 10.14.1 fixed the issue, so it was more of an Apple issue.
This is the first I've heard of it happening on 10.12.6.
10.14.1 should run fine on your MacBook Pro, and would likely fix the issue...but if you are unwilling to upgrade (which is understandable), then I think we'll have to wait for a FL tech to respond.
