BUG: (Talmud) Anchors in Notes
There are many opportunities to cross-reference the Talmud to the Bible. This can be done by creating a Note to a Talmud reference, then adding a Bible anchor.
This cannot be done the other way around.
Neither can one Talmud reference be anchored to a Talmud Note.
Is this by design? Should it be changed?

What error are you getting when the link rejects? What format is the Talmudic reference? I ask to make sure I'm visualizing what you are doing because it seems very odd that it doesn't work.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks for your interest, MJ.
If my explanation is not clear, please let me know.

I believe you've identified a really nasty bug .... want me to ask FL to change the title to indicate a bug report?

Additional clue for developers:
- Make a Note for a Talmud verse (ie: b. Berakhot 9:1, I.44.F)
- Add an Anchor to a Bible verse (ie: Isaiah 53:10)
- Set a Notes filter to these facets:
- Bible Book: Isaiah
- Anchor: Reference
- Type: Notes
- As you scroll up and down through the Notes, you will see only Notes where Isaiah is the first (top, primary) Anchor, except for the Note just created for the Talmud reference.
I was hoping that all secondary Anchors to Isaiah would be included in the visible list.

Agreed. I’ve been using a lot of secondary anchors, and wish that the facets will include them.

This scenario is identical to being able to add an initial anchor to a headword, but not being able to add a secondary anchor to a headword.

If the (type of) reference you want to anchor to doesn’t appear in the drop down list of suggestions, it can’t currently be linked.
I hope FL will implement a general solution which also handles other types of references, not just Talmud.

I've filed a bug report, thanks for reporting this.
I‘m guessing that the bug report is about not being able to add secondary anchors to certain references, rather than the issue of facets not accounting for secondary anchors?
Can we open a different case for the facets issue, please?
