Good morning, friends and family.
I need your help understanding the Word by Word section within the Exegetical Guide. I was instructed to meditate on 2 Corinthians 13:5, which says, "...do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?" [NASB Translation]
I pulled up the Exegetical Guide for the text which shows the Word by Word translation, only it doesn't have listed the "in you" after Jesus Christ, which left me confused, and asking whether the "in you" is part of the text? I read over the other words in the Word by Word but none of them seems to imply Christ being in me.
This led me to review all the translations for the text, but all the translators (i.e. Greek Scholars) says it should read as "Christ 'in you'"
Eventually, I enabled the interlinear within the Bible reading view, and this showed the Greek words for "in you" to be present.
What I'm confused about is why these words (i.e., the "in you") are not present within the Exegetical Guide Word by Word section? Please help.
