Faceted Menu Opens "Wrong"
I'm just now starting to mess with the new Notes tool. I was waiting for some of the fixes to kick in, and hopefully with a couple updates going down, some have.
One problem I notices almost immediately was the so-called faceted menu (the one on the far left) always opens with the filters all expanded. Even if I collapse them all, the next time I move something (like click on the Notebooks icon then back on the Filters icon, they all open expanded.
This is "wrong." That might be the wrong word, but I can't come up with a better one quickly.
If they can't be left on the last user setting (like most of these things in the software have done for years), then they ought to open by default to the *most efficient* setting, which would be collapsed, not expanded. If they open expanded, I often have to collapse dozens of them to find the one I'm looking for. If they open collapsed, I can get where I need to be with a single click.
Can we get this inefficiency fixed?

Likewise.
