How is a document, such as a passage list, viewed in Wide View?

We are in the Logos Bible Software Training Manual Volume 3 and in section 9 it reads:

■ If multiple Bibles are designated in the Passage List (E) and the document is in a wide view (F), the Bible header clicked (G) at the top of the “spreadsheet” will open (H

Morris Proctor Seminars. (2018). Logos Bible Software Training Manual (Vol. 3, p. 78). Murfreesboro, TN: MP Seminars.

but we can't find instructions (anywhere!!) on how to get it into wide view so that it shows up in columns like the illustration

Hi Lynn - and welcome to the forums.

I don't have that training manual and finding it difficult to visualize what it means from the description.

Are you able to include more of the text around that which you quoted and provide a screenshot (use the paperclip icon) showing the illustration in the manual?

Lynn, here's what I suspect is the sort of thing you are looking at:

Multiple Bibles are selected, but there is only room to show one at a time.

Here is the same Passage Guide twice the width of the first one:

All three selected Bibles show in columns.

Not sure why Morris calls this 'wide view'. You simply drag one margin of the Passage Guide and make it wider. Alternatively you can hit CTRL-F11 to make the guide a floating window and maximize it to fill your entire screen, or drag one of the corners to resize it as you'd like.
