Highlighting accident
So I accidentally cleared all my highlighting by clicking "Restyle Annotations" and clicking "No Highlight". The undo button in the top right hand corner of Highlighting tools is grey/inactive so I can't seem to reverse my mistake.
Is there anyway to get my highlights back?

Hi Jessie - and welcome to the forums
So sorry to hear what has happened.
I would contact Customer Services and see if they can help - and I suggest not making any further changes to notes or highlights until you have some so.

Welcome to the forums, Jesse!
It sounds to me like you did this to one particular highlight style in the highlight palettes panel. Is that correct? If so, you've not lost the actual notes/highlights. They're simply not visible since they aren't displaying a highlight style.
To remedy this*:
- Open the Notes Tool
- Make sure you are displaying ALL notes (i.e. no filters are set)
- Sort the center column (or left column if sidebar closed) by date modified
- Select the first note in the list, then scroll down until you see the last note affected by the change OR approximately 50 notes (whichever comes first) and Shift+click
- (The note editor panel will now change to the bulk edit panel)
- Change the highlight style to your preference
- (If none of your selected notes contain a highlight style, you should see the slashed circle icon)
- Click the apply button (you may need to scroll down)
*My assumption is that you haven't modified other notes SINCE this happened.

Really appreciate it!
