Indexer making connections outside ... and if so to whom?
On my Mac, I am running little snitch, and app to monitor connections to the outside ... you would be shocked by the amount of data apps try to send to google et. al. (not just websites).
Little Snitch has just displayed this pop-up in relation to the Logos Indexer:
What is api.raygun.io ? ... or has the code been compromised?
I have not seen this message before ... yet I have frequently had to index under L8 so something has changed.

Raygun services have been used by Logos software for a long time - see https://community.logos.com/forums/p/91992/638834.aspx#638834 for example
I don't know the details but it seems to be used to help gather performance-related information.

Thanks Graham.
I had not seen that thread. I have blocked that site until a logos employee can say what and why is being sent; and what the conflicting certificate message means (or whatever ... this forum software s hiding my screenshot ... another thing not developed since first implemented).
In that thread it was even suggested that we unblock google analytics... why would logos be sending data to google?

Raygun is an error-monitoring service. Logos 7 and 8 report crashes to Raygun (with diagnostic information including the full callstack and possibly paths to database or resource files, depending on the nature of the crash). This helps us improve the quality of the product by tracking exception frequency for problems not reported via the forums.
