In logos 8 I am not able to see the last update of resources or downloaded resources as it used to be on the front of the home page of the Base packages.

Blessings in Christ.

From the Home Page Changes from Logos 7 to 8:

Update notifications: There are no longer notifications on the Home Page for application and resource updates. We plan to bring these back in the near future. You can see resource updates in the Library with the new Added facet, which you’ll find at the bottom of the new Sidebar menu.

Check out this helpful forum thread to see two ways to identify what resources have recently been added or updated.

The wiki also provides instructions on how to identify newly updated resources.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

The Changes page is misleading. Resource updates can be seen in Library, with either the Last Updated facet or the Last Updated column in Details View. From the Last Updated facet, the Added facet will show how many were installed/new  e.g. 59 Updated/50 Added, 11 Updated/0 Added.

There is nothing I can see here. If I clicked on the "last update" nothing comes out. Logos took time to complicate it. This is confusing .

Have you downloaded any new resources recently?

Can you post a screenshot showing these facets in your Library?

Click on the three horizontal lines next to the “find resources” search bar.

One part is new, the rest is not. In any case, I am glad to help out. In the screenshot below, I have added three arrows to assist you. These were placed on top of your screenshot. You can click on the screenshot to open the image in a larger view if needed.

    1. The orange arrow points to the "hamburger" menu, which will open a "faceted" sidebar menu. This is new.. this is powerful. You should learn to use it.

    2. The red arrow points to "last updated." From your screenshot, it is clear that you have turned that column ON (good). It is not visible, however, because you haven't scrolled to the right. See next point.

    3. A limited number of columns can be viewed at once. You have at least 21 columns turned on. There is not problem with that, however it will require you to scroll sideways to see them. As you have them arranged currently, the "last updated" info will be the eighth column. "Type" is the second column, the book cover "image" is first.

    4. The blue arrow shows that you can scroll sideways. There are different means to do this depending upon your computer hardware. You may have to click and drag the slider.

    5. Once you scroll to the "last updated" column, you will want to sort by "most recent." Simply click on the column header until the most recently updated resources are listed at the top.

I got it now. Thank you Alabama for making it clear. Thank you all as well I appreciate for everyone's help. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
