highlighting not working

Greetings,

I see that others are having a similar issue. I try to highlight various sentences and words in different books but the ability to highlight is not available. Is there a fix that I am just not seeing?

I don't know which others you are referring to, but similar symptoms don't mean "same problem."

It may be good for you to provide more details about your process, but the most common explanation is that you don't have the appropriate visual filter turned on. If that is the case, you are actually making highlights, you just aren't seeing them.
