How to create notes not linked to a specific translation

I am now using Logos 8, and am struggling how to create Notes. In Logos 7 I found two ways to create Notes, one generic for all translations and one specifically for one translation. Some notes I had to create again as I had created the wrong sort (only linked to one translation) by mistake.

In Logos 8 I am stuck as I can't find anywhere how to remove e.g. ESV from a note. Yes, I can create a Note, but the anchor is always a specific translation. So how to avoid this?

Any suggestions how to do this.

Actually it works just the same as in L7: you right-click from your bible, but not directly choose "Add a note", since you are currently in "Selection" mode. You click the bible reference one or two lines below on the right-hand-side of the context menu to change into "Reference" mode, then you add the note.

Alternatively, when a note is already created in selection mode specific to a translation, you can add another "anchor" (in L7 this was called "attachment point") and input the bible verse reference. This is more obvious and straightforward visible in L8 than in L7: no need to recreate a note when it has originally been added in the 'wrong way'.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you very much. Yes, both solutions work. I switch between mobile and desktop, and how forgotten how it worked.

    WOW!

Thank you for the question and the excellent solution. I was having the same issues with notes showing sometimes in one translation, sometimes in all.

    SOLVED!

    Merry Christmas to all!
