Anyone use this reference work and have thoughts about it as being useful?
I don't see what it adds to the resources already in Logos. It's from 1973 and extremely limited.
They used to ship it with the old cheapo OL package. $300 and 4 Post Toasties box tops. Worked great!
It's interesting ... a few notes:
- Names in hebrew don't get english versions. Point: they assume you can read hebrew
- Nouns get shown their construct, suffix and plural, and use by verse
- Sometimes, you just get a Bible ref. Again, read hebrew
Overall, if you wanted, it'd be supplementary, and you're familiar with hebrew (and aramaic if needed).
For $15, you're far better off with:

It's been around the block, and still a great reference work. I use it more than my HALOT big-boy or Classical Hebrew.
Gesenius was translated by Tragelles (shows up in the SBL greek varients too). And was the grand-dad to BDB. Which is $5 more (enhanced version)!
But for $20 less (free) you can get the Abridged BDB.
