Devotional for each chapter of the Bible

Is there such a thing as a devotional for each chapter of the Bible? I found some chapter summaries, such as the "Summarized Bible" for the Old and New Testaments. I also found a number of calendar devotionals with readings for one year. But I can't find a book of devotionals for each chapter of the Bible. Our church is looking for something like that to accompany our custom Bible reading plan.

Do you know of any book titles that would meet this need? Thanks!

One option would be the Day by Day Collection

There is a day by day in the Old Testament and a day by day in the New Testament.

Another possibility is With the Word Bible Commentary

While this is not a devotional, it has the format of one and might meet your needs

This may be a distant cousin to what you are looking for, it isn't really chapter by chapter, but I like it as a devotional commentary and have used it alongside a Bible Reading plan. You might be able to adapt it.

Yes, "Our Daily Homily" will do this. Unfortunately, Logos built it as a type:monograph. As an example I'll put the text to Gen 1:

The Evening and the Morning were the First Day.

How different is God’s method from man’s! The creature works from day to night, his best is first; but darkness overshadows his fairest hopes and best concerted schemes. The Creator’s days begin with the preceding eve. He reckons the evenings and nights into the days, because out of them the day is born; they usher in the light, and recreate body and brain for the busy hours that follow.

A friend of mine and I did a devotional called Come and See by Tina Reale. It was really good. It did the four gospels and you read one chapter and then she summarizes it and then the next one you read the next chapter and then she summarizes it. Once we were finished with it, we craved more like this and that is what brought me to this for. Really good book it is geared towards females , but anybody could read it.
