Book Not on App: Way to Tell?
Is there a way to tell when a particular book is not available in the Logos app?
I just picked up on the January special, Martin Luther's Day by Day We Magnify You: Daily Readings for the Entire Year by Marshall Johnson (Fortress Press), but it's not showing up on my phone.
Is this an oversight, or is it restricted for some reason?

I think it's just the usual case that it takes a bit longer (sometimes several hours, some bad times even a day or so) to propagate your new license to the servers that support the mobile app. My copy of the book is older (last update last April - luckily, as it seems the book is no longer allowed to be sold to international customers) and I just checked the device mark in the book info to have it downloaded to my mobile app: worked within a minute. Maybe going this route would speed up things for you, otherwise I'd expect it to show up in your mobile library tomorrow.
Have joy in the Lord!

Yes, it showed up immediately on my laptop, but not yet on my phone.
I just got Logos 8 at year's end. Would that impact?

To answer this question more directly, there are multiple answers.
- At one time there was a large minority of resources unavailable on mobile. That is no longer the case.
- For the few resources which will not be mobile enabled (at present), the product page won't list "mobile"
- When a resource is first released by FL, there often needs to be a software update before the resource becomes mobile enabled... so there is a delay in release dates. This is usually within a week... but sometimes a bit longer. That should not be the issue in your case now.
- I think it is rare, but some users have noticed a delay between purchases and resources appearing in their mobile library. I think maybe once I had that problem... but most always it is nearly instantaneous for me.
- The "rebuild index" command does not do the same thing that it does on the desktop. Sometimes the mobile library needs to rebuild the list of books and the command will do so.
