I've been working through Biblical Events and discovered it would be very helpful to have a dataset on the stuff I usually pay little attention to - military battles. Information of interest:
- nations/tribes/ethnic groups battling
- dispute leading to conflice
- a battle in a large campaign? if so, what larger campaign
- military leaders and notable soldiers
- location of battle apprx. date
- winner
- sacking/exile/taxes ...
