Homepage Card Bug - Not my layout
I started a mobile ed course on Hebrews that I got through Logos Now. Here are the steps I followed to get started...
- Went to 'Tools' then 'Courses'
- Found the course that I wanted to begin then clicked on it
- Set up the layout the way I wanted it
- Saved as a named layout
Logos added it to my Homepage as a card. However, when I click on the card, it is not the layout that I saved, it only opens the 'Course' tool by itself.
Can anyone please give me some direction? Let me know what I'm doing wrong....

You are not doing anything wrong - but the software doesn't support what you are trying to do
There are only some cases where layouts are linked to homepage cards - those which are shown in the Layouts menu (technically, a subset of them)
So, for example, you can set up a layout to be used when you click a Lectionary card.
But there is nothing similar for courses and so what you are trying to do won't work - sorry about that.
And one strange thing I noticed when looking at this, even setting up a layout containing an open course and then opening the layout from the layouts menu causes the Courses Tool to open in its "initial state" (showing the various courses available) as opposed to showing the actual course that was open at the time the layout was created. This seems like a bug.

And I have assumed - from your description - that you were doing this in Logos 8 on the desktop / laptop - even though this forum is for the mobile apps. If that isn't the case please advise.
