It may be my imagination (but I usually notice stuff like this), but I think the homepage closes and opens a fraction slower. This means that opening a resource when the homepage is displayed is a fraction slower. The transition is a bit choppy, meaning I can see residual elements of the homepage as the resource I selected is opening. Even when the homepage is not displayed, opening resources (especially bibles) is slower. If feel like opening resources was much cleaner with quicker and smoother transitions.
I looks like you haven't made many changes with SR-1 but it does just feel a fraction slower to me. Not sure what would be causing that. I compared it to the installation of Logos 7 on the same computer and they are closer together in speed, when Logos 8 was markedly faster at opening resources before. It may be nothing but I thought I'd mention it since you guys have done so much work to improve speed and performance for Logos 8 (I was just telling someone the other day how much faster Logos 8 is), so I would hate to see it start moving in the wrong direction.

Thanks so much Philana and team. After downloading the update I am now able to compile 3 personal books that I could not compile beforehand! I am very pleased!

Why is it that we can no longer see the release notes from Logos 8 program when it has updated as we could with Logos 7?

That facility was removed when Faithlife revamped the Home Page for L8. It may be restored in a future release.
