Hi Linda, welcome to the forums.

I don't think I've seen any indication that FL is going to add the "books from my library option" back, but the next best thing is to type fsd in the command bar and click go. It opens a random book from your library to a random page.

fsd =  Facilitate Serendipitous Discovery

Welcome Linda,

The "From your library" option and "graphics" (I think you meant "Media") option may not be coming back. The "Excerpt" (from books) option could well be coming back.

Please elaborate about which book(s) and graphic(s) excerpts on your home page were helpful. Faithlife had several questions in a different thread:

Also, some other random Qs for you: did you fire up the app with the sole purpose of reading excerpts-- or did you just come across it while doing Bible study?

I think the graphic/media option was the best in the L7 home page layout. Currently I just skip the home page. As a workaround, I started my own graphics layout for the time being.

It may be that the graphics/media layout slowed down the home page buildup. However, if it is an option, it is then just up to the user.
