Problem with downloading updates

I have LM4 Alpha 20 - and have such problem

Each time I open logos 4 the little blue icon appears for about 15 sec. and a flash message says it is downloading xxx mb of material but then the icon disappears and I have no idea if it is downloading or not.

what should I do?

Observation: logos4.log includes updates.db and resourcemanager.db file locations:

/Users/admin/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/8xswksdh.0zl/UpdateManager/Updates.db

/Users/admin/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/8xswksdh.0zl/ResourceManager/ResourceManager.db

Also noticed Carbon Copy Cloner (ccc) and MacGamesArcade (mga) scheduled tasks running every 10 seconds - both with message: No such file or directory - may want to consider schedule task modification(s).

Please, let me know how to delete these 2 things as CCC and MacGames. I have now idea and it seems to me I have deleted them long time ago

The indexer is crashing trying to discover this file: /Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources/1COR.LSF

As a workaround, you could move it out of the /Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources to your desktop temporarily, and then move it back after the indexer completes.

It crashed again on this file:

Perhaps, you could just rename the "/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources" folder temporarily until the updates get downloaded?

I've created a case for this bug that I'll have to look into why these resources won't discover.

The file was written for Logos Library System (LLS) The engine produced by Logos Bible Software prior to Logos 3 (Libronix). However Logos 4 should either be able to recognize the file or download the newer logos4 version if one exists. That does not mean you should not follow Tom's directions though.

I'd hate to have you do that, as the .LSF files should work under Logos4. If they don't it's a bug that we should fix. I've filed a couple of bugs for the resources that we know that don't work, and when they're fixed, you could try renaming that folder back.

CCC Faq http://help.bombich.com/faqs/scheduling/faq includes 'How do scheduled tasks "work"' - wonder about files in /Library/LaunchAgents, /Library/LaunchDaemons, and ~/Library/LaunchAgents ? (anticipating com.logos.LogosIndexer.plist to be in ~/Library/LaunchAgents)
