Updates to Logos 8 overloading system resources.
About 20% of the time when Logos loads updates I find my Task Monitor showing 100% usage of my hard drive for a large portion of the time that follows the update and is shown as Indexing the Library. During this time everything is Logos freezes including the % indexed. I have a Intel Core i3 M 330 @ 2.13 GHz with 8 Gig of Ram, 64 bit Windows 10 Home Ver 1803, Build 17134.472 in a Acer Laptop connected to the Internet by Ethernet cable with 100 MBS service. It has a 463 Gig SSD hard drive with 50% free. How can I gather more information on this to help you help me.

I am sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with this, Charles. It is certainly possible that Logos will temporarily need 100% usage to complete an update.
However, you can change the settings so that it will not update automatically. I do not normally recommend doing this, but it sounds like it might be helpful for your particular situation.
Just open Logos, go to Tools > Utilities > Program Settings, and set Automatically Download Updates to No. Logos will then only update when you agree to the update. This means you could postpone running the update until you will not be needing the computer for a while.
You will then need to make sure that you do not allow a backlog of updates to accumulate. Perhaps you could set yourself a weekly reminder to run Logos updates.

It is a 9 year old 32-bit processor, with 2 cores/4 threads. It is strange with an SSD, but the age of the laptop (what model?) will restrict its speed to no more than 50% of what it is capable if it runs on a SATA II interface, even less on a SATA I interface. Provide details of the SSD.

It's a 64-bit processor. Perhaps you saw that it's 32nm lithography. The details are here https://ark.intel.com/products/47663/Intel-Core-i3-330M-Processor-3M-Cache-2-13-GHz-
At any rate even in 2010 this was a slow processor and there's no question it will suffer when running Logos 8. Follow the advice above and only install updates when you are about to leave it for an extended period of time.

I misinterpreted another piece of information, rather than scrolling down to Instruction Set.
