BUG: Fuzzy Search ignores reference range setting
I tried to search for occurrences of "shepherd" in just the New Testament. The Fuzzy Search section suggests verses in the entire Bible. I would expect it to limit the results to whatever the reference range is set to.

I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this recently wherein FL staff explained (IIRC) that this was expected behavior for Fuzzy Search.
EDIT: I found the threads using Google (which is also usually a better bet for fuzzy Bible verse searches):

It sounds like they acknowledged that it was a known issue (lack of functionality rather than a bug per se), and they've written up a case for it, but they don't have a timeline for addressing it. I'm hoping that another bug report about it will bump up its priority a bit if it's down at the very bottom of the barrel for them.

Curious about barrel color (suspect one per Faithlife user interface conventions to avoid jelly bean appearance)

I see that you’re searching for the single word “shepherd”. I’m not sure what you’re expecting Fuzzy Bible Search to provide here; a regular Bible search (within your reference range) seems like it might be more useful?
(Not trying to dismiss your bug report; just suggesting that in this specific instance, Fuzzy Bible Search might not be the right tool for the job. Or perhaps you can help me understand why you thought it would be useful.)

I wasn't trying to use Fuzzy Search. I was doing a regular Bible Search. But Fuzzy always happens anyway and the results show up above the regular search results, so I just happened to notice it, and noticed that it looked wrong.

Don't know color of barrel, but suspect contents are colored light amber.

This BUG remains and has come up again on the forums.
