How do I add the QuickStart layout 'Devotional' to the home screen?
From within the home screen, I click on the plus sign but I am presented with only four options for my desktop. I have already assigned a couple of layouts, which is why, I presume, that they are not in the list. 'Devotional' is not on my home page yet, and neither is it on my list of available QuickStart Layouts.
BTW. I have just notices that 'Lectionary Reading' is also neither on my home page nor on the list of layouts.
Am I missing something obvious?
The devotional option for the home page only seems to load a resource ... when I am looking for notes, prayer lists, devotional and of course my bible!

Your first screenshot is - I think - what you get when clicking "Layouts" after clicking "+"
Do you not see a previous screen including options for Devotional and Lectionary readings?

Yes ... I see that menu but when I add 'daily devotional' it is not the same as the devotional quick layout. Instead it opens the chosen resource in a blank layout. I would like to have a devotional layout (the one supplied by Logos) that can be opened from the Home page, which then gives me the prayer lists, notes document, bible and potentially anything else I might need in my devotional time.

I see the problem now - I think it must be a bug
One possible workaround - ensure the devotional you want to use is the highest prioritised one in your library.
Then the command box command "open devotional layout" will open that resource within the layout you are looking for.
If, instead, of executing the command in the command box you drag it to the shortcut bar you will be able to click it and open the layout when you need it.
But hopefully the homepage card approach will get addressed

The Lectionary QuickStart layout is missing as well. I would like to be able to add that layout as a card as well. I like the Lectionary QuickStart layout because it is not as busy as the Lectionary Home Page layout.

Philana, is this bug still in the process of being fixed? I was hoping to see the QuickStart Devotional and Lectionary layouts would be available to add to the home page in 8.3.

Please also can clicking on a Devotional card such as 'Morning and Evening' open a cusomisable Home Page Devotional Layout, rather than just opening the book on its own.
