Bug 4.01d - Misspelled Words in Notes

Ok here is an interesting one....

While creating passage lists linked to notes files with KEYWORDS in the content area of the notes I noticed that searches were not coming up with words that I knew were in my notes files. I noticed that in my keywords (in content area) contained a misspelled word and that SEARCH was not coming up with anything AFTER this misspelled word in the content area of the notes file.

Hmm its like indexing couldn't deal with the misspelled word...so don't misspell.

Are you sure that you didn't have an invalid character? Logos doesn't have a speller checker nor do you have to indicate the language(s) withing a note so I think a hidden character is more likely. or perhaps an invalid reference?

Ok, tried to duplicate the problem again this morning and used the same keyword set, added {}[]@, various misspelled words a couple of carriage returns and it did it again my note would not come up in the search results. So started fixing the errors/running searches one by one. After correction the search was successful. Pasted my original text back in with the errors, and the search works fine...

So, maybe it has nothing to do with content at all... Is there a certain amount of time that L4 takes to make the notes searchable? Especially if there is a lot of content? I wonder what happens in the background...

There is some lag time before they are searchable, possibly due to background indexing.
