Linking to mobile
I have a question that I figure is not possible but, hey, I can hope right?
I know that I can copy a link to a resource into another document (outside of Logos) and it will take me to that via the online app. For instance, a scripture reference can be linked inside of MS Word and when clicked, it opens that verse in the online app.
Here is the question: Can I make the same type of link open in the mobile app from Word or other program?
My scenario is this. I have Logos open and my notes in MS OneNote are side beside on my iPad. While preaching, I don't need the actual text in my notes, just a link to it.
I doubt it is possible, but worth a try, right?
PS. I know these are possible inside a Sermon Outline and Notes from within the app. However, I am slowly switching from this. The new Notes is currently too confusing for me to figure out. Sermon outlines doesn't let me organize all my messages nor can I edit on the mobile app. Also the app doesn't let me mark up my outline with he Apple Pencil or insert images, etc... (Then there is the whole auto publish thing that seemingly hasn't gotten fixed on my machine for some reason) Logos is great for bible study but currently not working for me in the notes/outline area

If you have the Logos for iOS app installed, then any ref.ly links should open Logos directly, e.g., try tapping this link on your iPhone or iPad: https://ref.ly/logosref/Bible.Jn3.16
(I believe Logos for Android works the same way.)

From the resource menu (⋮) in any resource, select "Copy Location as URL", then paste that link into your note (or add it to existing text).

Hmmmm....I just looked and I cannot seem to find an option for copy location as URL. Is this only available on desktop?

So far, the best I can figure is that this option is only available within the desktop software. I can not find the option in the app nor in the online app.
I was successful in finding it in the desktop app though.
Also, it is a bit ridiculous how the link opens in a browser before opening in the desktop app. It works on the iPad much better.
Anyway, if there is a way to get the link from within the mobile app. This would be awesome for my use case.

You can do this in the ios mobile app. Not as clean and straightforward as the desktop.
Select something like a word and from the popup menu select "Share", not "Copy". From the options ios shows, you then select "Copy" and then you can paste into your document. You will get the word you selected as well as the link to that text position in the document.
For example if I select the verse number I get this:
I'm reading John 3:22
https://ref.ly/Jn3.22;nrsvIf I select a word in the verse I get this:
"After"
https://ref.ly/Jn3.22;nrsvIf I select a word in a resource, Like "The Treasury of David" I get this:

This is currently an area where iOS and Android handle these links better than macOS and Windows.
